This is a 4-star lodge perched in the centre of Kenya’s popular Tsavo East National Park of which the park is a popular safari destination with great attraction to those who are interested in experiencing the vastness of the wilderness and incredible terrain.
The lodge boosts a superb location with just a couple of hours from the coast of Mombasa, 5 hours leisurely drive from Nairobi and is located on the banks of Aruba Dam which was built in 1952 as a sport fishing recreational point in the park.
Several watering holes nearby attract a variety of wildlife and spotting animals is easy because the park lies flat with savannah grassland.
The property comprises of 46 rooms including the 6 tents for those who want to experience the night under canvas.
The open sitting restaurant located in the main building of the lodge overlooks the dam at all angles and can sit a maximum of 150 guests. The wooden deck shaded by canvas umbrellas can be used as extra seating during meal times.
The buffet platforms (both warm and cold) sit in the middle of the restaurant for easy access by all. The restaurant serves set buffets featuring international, oriental and traditional African cuisine.
Guests can a dip in the lodge’s swimming pool after the game drives or simply relax by the pool which overlooks the national park.
