Kenya and Tanzania are among the most talked about countries with best wildlife safaris in Africa most especially recognized for their annual great migration of Wildebeest and other species which migrate from Tanzania in high numbers to access Kenya in search of virgin pastures.

This great migration in Tanzania and Kenya happens each and every calendar year in months of July to October where over 1.5 Wildebeests and thousands of Zebras, Thomson’s gazelles, Elands and Topi move from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya of which both parks lie on the borders of Tanzania and Kenya and are strongly attached together thus allowing animals to move from one Park to another without any difficulty.

Besides those two Eco Tours Kenya has a lot to offer in the Kenya Tanzania national parks as seen below

Nakuru national park is the national park where travelers get to see thousands of flamingos create a beautiful pink view because of their plumage. These are some of the most beautiful birds, and they flock the area to feed on algae. This national park also has other animals like rhinos and zebras, and amazing cliffs and waterfalls that add to its beauty.

Tsavo West and East National Parks

These are two separate national parks. Tsavo is about 22,000 square kilometers, and it is one of the largest parks in the word. It is divided into two by a railway from Mombasa to other parts of the country. The national park is beautiful with large open plains and some of the features include Mzima springs, swamps and Lake Jipe. Some of the animals to spot are birds, elephants, hippos and leopards among others.

Amboseli resting at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the Amboseli is one of the best national parks in Kenya. The signature sight of this park is sighting hundreds of gigantic elephants with big tusks. Along with this the reserve is blessed with mesmerizing views which can be witnessed in the dusk and dawn. Check out for Samburu National Park

Resting amidst the Rift Valley Province of Kenya, this name of this national reserve is derived from the Samburu tribe of Kenya who were settled in this area for a long time. With no fences around, this park is almost an open Savannah which shelters rare species of animals and birds like the long-necked gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra and Beisa oryx.

Visit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in northern Tanzania. A home to the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and “big 5” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino). Huge herds of wildebeests and zebras traverse its plains during their annual migration. Livestock belonging to the semi-nomadic Maasai tribe graze alongside wild animals.

Tarangire National Park is another national park in Tanzania’s Manyara Region. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. The Tarangire River is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry season.

Katavi National Park is a Tanzanian national park created in 1974 and is located in Katavi Region, Tanzania. It is a very remote park that is less frequently visited than other Tanzanian national parks yet it’s also a charming one.
